About the office

Y. Levinson & Partners Law Office was established by the late attorney Yoav Levinson.

Mr. Yoav Levinson was born in 1950 in Tel Aviv. He graduated from the Hebrew University law school in 1975. Upon his graduation he interned at S. Horowitz & Partners law offices under attorney Dr. Amnon Goldenberg, the leading attorney in the country at that time. After an additional period of time wherein he served as an attorney and handled important and high profile cases, he went on his own path.

In the beginning of the 80s Mr. Yoav Levinson established the office together with attorney Avigdor Lev-Ari (who in time retired from the office and established an independent office located at our offices).

From that time on and through the years the office accrued much reputation as a unique "boutique" office in the civil-commercial field in general and in banking and insolvency law in particular. The office specialized through the years in providing quality and best legal representation to large bodies and to private clients alike, particularly in the field of managing complex legal proceedings before various instances. As part of this Y. Levinson & Partners Law Office had the privilege of participating in creating important Legal precedents in these fields.

Mr. Yoav Levinson educated and trained generations of lawyers who worked under him, and provided them with unique work habits and creative and original legal thinking. The team of lawyers currently leading the office is among the lawyers that he educated.

Through the years the office expanded and grew and it represents business and legal departments in head offices of leading banking corporations, credit cards companies, commercial companies and private clients. As part of this the office specializes in managing various litigation cases, in a broad range of subject matters, in all judicial instances, while specializing in banking law and in insolvency law.

In 2006 Mr. Yoav Levinson passed away and left the office in the hands of his successors, Ms. Ofra Akerman-Schwartz, Mr. Einan Shahar and Mr. Guy Levinson who were trained in the office many years before that.

Presently the office continues the path of Mr. Yoav Levinson, and provides legal advice to private clients and to leading firms in the Israeli economy, with the same professional and legal standards prevailing in the office since its establishment, while applying original and creative legal thinking, providing personal service and putting the client and his needs in the center of action and legal work.
